There is no greater joy than finding an amazing high-end designer piece on sale priced at less than similar mid range designs! I mean who doesn’t love a good bargain?
This is the case with my new Fendi “Waves” mules, where I enjoyed around a $1,000 AUD saving during the David Jones designer accessories sale. I purchased these babies for only $597 AUD. What a complete steal considering they are 100% leather and are of the finest Italian workmanship! The style is so me and I know I will wear them often.
I have my cheeky personal shopper friend Amy (Instagram: @Nevertwomuch) to blame for alerting me to these. She keeps me up to date and regularly tempts me with amazing goodies through DM. Most times when I visit DJs to shop through her I seem to make some kind of purchase! And they are always shoes… Like I don’t already have enough. I am not going to lie; I am definitely a major shoe addict and have a serious problem. Shoes have invaded my home!
While I can’t pin my shoe addiction on Amy, I can definitely blame my new obsession with T2’s iced vanilla matcha latte on her! When I met her on a recent shopping session, we scurried over to T2 Emporium where I tasted my first sip of pure heaven. In the space of a week I have had more than I’d like to admit! I even bought a tin of vanilla matcha powder to make them at home. Talk about an addict. Try as I might though, mine never taste as good as in store (despite me following instructions to a tea). This is what I call the universal law of beverages. When you make them yourself they’re never as nice as when you pay someone to do it for you.
Also, now that I think of it, these mules are actually my first pair of Fendi shoes! Incredible right!? How did I not already have any!? I hereby officially welcome you into my mostly Chanel family! I’m sure they’ll all make you feel right at home in my wardrobe. Fendi and Chanel both have Karl in common right? They should have heaps to talk about.
What are your thoughts? Do you love them as much as I do?
