Hi everyone! Meet the new Adrianna. She’s slightly blonder this time around and her hair is a little shorter. Oh and she’s definitely looking a bit more glamorous too. Hehe do you like my introduction? I always feel like a new woman when I come out of the hair salon. Every so often I love revamping my look and trying something slightly different. As one of my friends says, a hair change is as good as a holiday. And boy do I need one of those after going back to uni.
For this post I half collaborated with Bookwell (link here). I say half because they paid for half of my hair makeover at Capelli Lunghi. I fronted the remainder of the cost out of my own pocket. When I was approached for this collab, admittedly I had never heard of Bookwell before. I’m sure there are probably others out there too. So for those not familiar with Bookwell, they're an Australian owned beauty directory. Their site allows you to connect and book appointments with many highly recommended wellness and beauty salons across Australia (link here). Definitely check them out if you are Australian based.
I really love their online booking system because it eliminates the need to get on the phone. Usually when I call to make bookings something will throw me off. For example the business won’t have the days and times I’m looking for. Then I go into panic mode, flipping through my diary trying to make something work. Not good! Online booking systems are way better for me as it allows me to remain in a state of calm. I love being able to take my time to book my appointment, rather than keeping some poor receptionist on the phone for 10 minutes while I work through my hectic timetable.
So what do you guys think of my new hairstyle? Have any of you ever used Bookwell before? I’m so curious to hear which beauty and wellness businesses you’ve tried through them. They have an amazing array of high quality salons. I definitely loved the cut and balayage I had done at Capelli Lunghi. I’m actually obsessed with how amazing the cut is and I can’t wait to go back. Thanks Bookwell for introducing me to such an amazing local business.
