Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator & Kiwi Seed Lip Conditioner Review

Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator Kiwi Seed Lip Conditioner Balm Moisturizer

Today I have the pleasure of introducing you to an amazing New Zealand natural skin label called Antipodes. I have been fortunate enough to sample their “Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator*” and “Kiwi Seed Lip Conditioner*” and am excited to share my experiences with you exclusively on MimaMochi.com.

Antipodes Reincarnation Pure Facial Exfoliator

This beautiful Antipodes exfoliator comes in a luxe monochrome tube, making it a stunning addition to your bathroom cabinet. That aside, the packaging makes for easy and hygienic dispensing which is extremely important for products that come into contact with your face. At first when you use the exfoliator, you may be surprised with how gentle and lightweight the consistency is. I know I certainly am used to granular exfoliators which actually feel like they are doing their job well at removing impurities away from the skin. However don’t let the gentle nature of this product fool you. It may be a smooth cream, which uses very fine particles of jojoba bean to exfoliate the skin, however it still leaves the face feeling soft and dewy with a healthy glow. When using the reincarnation pure facial exfoliator, you only need a small pea-sized amount, which can easily be massaged across the face and neck with minimal effort. It also washes off after use with similar ease. What I love most is that this gentle product is safe for even the most sensitive of skin types to use, as it doesn’t scratch the skin or cause redness and irritation. For those of you with non-sensitive skin needing a deeper cleanse, I would recommend applying this product to dry skin (as opposed to wet as recommended) to enhance its exfoliation effect. In terms of my personal experiences, I have psoriasis making my skin quite sensitive. This means I only need to use this once per week with my current skincare regime in order to experience the maximum benefits. Finally, I wanted to mention that I love the subtle smell of the product. While some people may complain that the fragrance isn’t strong enough, I don’t actually mind this in a beauty natural product as it makes the product suitable for those who may have sensitivities to strongly scented cosmetics. All in all this is a wonderful natural exfoliator that comes highly recommended by me.

Antipodes Kiwi Seed Lip Conditioner

This Antipodes lip conditioner is beautifully presented in its premium black packaging, giving it the luxe appeal of a high-end designer beauty product. I always like making a mention of the visual details, as this plays an important role in me enjoying the product. In all simplicity, I love beautifully designed items that will look lovely displayed on my bathroom shelf or organized inside my handbag. After being exposed to many poorly packaged (but otherwise amazing) natural beauty items, it is fantastic seeing natural brands like Antipodes putting a lot of thought into the visual aesthetic of their brand. The kiwi seed lip conditioner itself is a clear, colorless balm that contains kiwi seed oil, omega 3s and Vitamin E as well as a few other key ingredients. It can be used as both a primer or lip conditioner meaning it is a great two in one.

With my personal experiences, I found it worked best as a preventative for normal skin not experiencing cracking or dryness as this lip conditioner is a real gem at maintaining healthy lips. It also served me well as a primer under lip-gloss or lipstick to nourish the lips, extend wear of product and prevent dryness. Personally, I found it insufficient when using it alone as a rescue application for extremely cracked lips as it applies on quite thinly and doesn’t feel as if it penetrates deeply enough through the dryness to have any real benefit. Despite this observation though, I still think this Kiwi Seed Lip Conditioner that has a place in any health conscious person's cosmetic collection. It is a great natural lip primer, with a similar consistency and aesthetic to a high end product like the "Chanel Rouge Coco Baume", however with much more hydration and the added benefit of being "so healthy, you can almost eat it". With conditioning that lasts for 5 hours (provided you don't eat or drink excessively) it is becoming a real favorite of mine.

*The Antipodes products in this post were given to me as a PR sample, however all the opinions stated are 100% factual and honest to my experience. I have trialed these items consistently for a month to ensure the review is as helpful as possible.
